The apartment was great, and it is close to the Ciampino train station. We took the train daily back and forth between Ciampino and Rome and it was great (it takes 15 minutes, but sometime there are delays or cancelations). I highly recommend this as a place to stay for visiting Rome if you don't mind the commute.
