We both liked the beautiful countryside setting and the property, while it has upgraded amenities, has lots of character.

With that said, I would recommend having your own transportation; however, I am not sure that its entirely necessary.

We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.
