Hotels near Mykonos Airport - JMK, Mýkonos City

We loved this hotel - beautiful, clean, and with friendly people. The team made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was well-prepared and delicious, featuring local dishes. Especially Perparim, George, Vasilina, and Magda provided a professional and unforgettable welcome at breakfast every morning. Beautiful place. Lots of bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants with stunning beaches. We ate at Souvlaki Story in Klouvas which was great food. We used the supermarket Flora and bakery next door which was amazing. We also used following: supermarket called Bizarre which is very reasonable, a bakery called Venti and a Crepe takeaway. All other restaurants we ate in were in Mykonos town or Little Venice. Something I didn’t read was the roads are very busy. You need to be a confident driver if you choose to drive in Mykonos.

Convenient for access to the airport. In a flight path of aeroplanes landing, but rooms well soundproofed. Little options for food on arrival. No reception area. Reasonable communication with host via messaging. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Hosts helpful with finding a well priced transfer from ferry. However, could be preferable to stay somewhere more pleasant with free transfers to and from port and airport.

We visited Mykonos during September 2025. Stayed 14 days there. Visited the most important beaches and several very good restaurants. We rented a car. During our holiday the days were mostly windy so we spent the most of time at beaches of island south side. (beaches Ornos, Psarou, Paradise and super Paradise). After visiting to windmills we went to Paralia Megali Ammos. Mikonos is offering something for everybody - very good (and not expensive) restaurants located in old city port, near of Municipal Library and deeper inside of Hora (Kostas restaurant).

The part of Mykonos island where we stayed was very quiet at night so you could get a lot of rest and relaxation, which was great. We had like a 3-5 minute walk to a beach, a store, and a couple of restaurants. It’s like 5-7 minutes from Mykonos Town or the Old Port where a lot of the main action is so you have to get transported there. We learned that you have to have a class M license yo rent the scooters 🛴 (mopeds). The cars and ATVs are fine to rent with a standard license but the scooters require a Class M or CM(I believe). It’s Grecian law but very disappointing for us lol! We would have been better off with the scooters as they rent them for 24 hours; the cars and ATVs as well but we had a dream of zipping around on the scooter🤗 we know now and I’m sure by the next time we go— I’ll be able to get one 😉 Don’t stay In Mykonos Town if you want peace and quiet. Do stay in Mykonos Town if you want a bustling night life with plenty of dining option well into the morning.

One of the most warmest and welcoming accomodations i have ever been. The location,the pool,the view are fantastic,very family friendly and quiet Just a 15 min walk from downtown Especially hats down to the host Alex,who’s like one of the coolest and nicest hosts you’ll ever meet.Always helpful and caring for his guests.Helped us out at one occassion with a big trouble we had. For sure a big reccomendation for everyone,Worth every cent
