The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking our own meals. There was a generous basket with breakfast items, chips, cookies and milk, juice and cheese in the frig. The bathroom was large and well appointed for seniors/handicapped (although we didn't need this). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable (if you like a semi-firm). The windows open for fresh air at night. There was plenty of room to hang/put away clothes. There were books and publications with regional information. We had a wonderful stay!

There is ample parking on the property.

Had a beautiful car ferry ride to Orkney Island. At Sanderlay Guest House we had a large, comfortable kitchenette room upstairs. Plenty of room with a sofa! Even had a table/chairs for our meals. Location is in a neighborhood and is very quiet. Easy check-in and out. They had a nice dining room and the breakfast was delicious. Shower was great with wonderful hot water.

Sarah came round on day 1 to introduce herself and make sure everything was as it should be. Perfect time had by all!
