External stairs lead to the 2nd floor apartment. The single room with an attached bathroom was modern, clean, and well appointed. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything imaginable. It’s somewhat isolated (and very quiet). There is a gravel path leading to the train station and pedestrian overpass adjacent to the airport (5 minute walk). We didn't have a car and used the Deutschland Ticket to frequently and conveniently ride the train and busses to various towns around the Bodensee. Our host was very responsive, answering our questions quickly.
