Great service! The owners are really nice and friendly. They picked me up and brought me back to the airport on time, they gave me extra information and tips for the trip. They communicated with me before my flight already, so I knew what to do once landed before even boarding my flight. The room was bigger than I expected, clean, with all commodities. I totally recommend if you need a place close to the airport.

We booked 2 nights but ended up staying much longer as were looking to buy a vehicle. They were very helpful, as we dont speak the language. It would have been much harder without their help. Their rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a shared kitchen About half mile to Walmart, and not much further to City mall. The centre of Alajeula is about 1.5 mls- all easy walks. Very close to airport and lots of car rentals. I read the reviews before booking and they are all true -Maddie & Jav and super cute baby, are friendly, helpful and patient. We asked so many questions. We will stay here for our return journey home. Highly recommended! Thank you Maddie & Jav!

Casa Carmen offers accommodations in Río Segundo, 10 miles from Parque Diversiones and 11 miles from National Stadium of Costa Rica. It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.

A convenient stay at the favorite hotel for travelers with complimentary transportation to and from the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Surrounded by a variety of dining options. I love the Courtyard for an overnight stay before or after a flight from SJO airport! It is the closest hotel (literally 5 minutes drive) plus they offer an airport shuttle that comes around every 30 minutes and collects you for free! I loved the excellent breakfast buffet - for a Courtyard that was a 5-star buffet! I stayed at other higher-ranked hotels with fewer options! Amazing! The staff also is so great, I loved chatting with them. They helped me with some questions unrelated to the hotel - and were very helpful and sweet.
