The place was amazing, the hotel was really authentic and I really liked the vibe. It’s perfect for solo travellers and families as well. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The bungalows were clean and they provided all the necessary amenities for a perfect and comfortable stay. The breakfast and the dishes were exceeded my expectations, everything was really delicious. Absolutely can recommend HEBE Bungalows and hope I can come back one day!

The light is the best little hotel around, a minute walk to the beach and they book you all the best trips. The sunsets from the roof terrace are amazing!

The wonderful hotel garden, very helpful and friendly stuff, especially the extraordinary and very kind cook, beautiful and clean pool, very kind and helpful owners, delicious and big breakfast, clean spacious room with nice private Terrasse and the favourite of all Lucy the Monkey. We had peace there and could really reset good. The beach is 3 min by foot away with wonderful sunrise. We will definitely Comme again and recommend it!

Anna and the staff were amazing, location is great close to everything and quite, facilities are amazing and the breakfast is just wow greatt variety and they bring it to your balcony, also it’s very very safe

Located in Pongwe, a few steps from Pongwe Beach, TOA Hotel & Spa Zanzibar provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Moved to Toa from another hotel in the North. The moment you step out of your transport you are met with a cold towel and cold refreshing hibiscus drink , and ushered to take a sit in the comfy seats around the lobby. Briefing and check in was done by Ester the Front office Manager. I liked this personal touch as you dont stand in line at the reception desk. To crown the check in a gentleman approached to welcome me to Toa , the Hotel Manager - Mr. Eric this was surely a nice touch. As it was lunch time , I popped into the restaurant, the buffet was superb, varied and plenty not forgetting the service team who were all smiles and ready to attend to you. Moving to my room, well set room, WIFI super as i had to breifly work. Evening entertainment by pool , very nice , dinner with live station -I can go on about Toa, short stay but was worth every moment . The team makes sure you are comfy and happy at all times- Thank you , Lucas, Esther, GM Eric, Ceclia at front office, Prince - hakuna matata and the bar man at the beach who made a fantastic cocktail. Big up Team Toa. Highly recommended.

Situated in Paje, within 300 metres of Paje Beach and 50 km of Peace Memorial Museum, Chokoro House features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property as well... Brilliant hotel! We had a wonderful stay in this great hotel. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the pool is an oasis of cool in the hot weather. The breakfast is wonderful. Jourdan, Lorin and their team (particularly Mwana) gave us great advice on local restaurants and tours and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Hope to return one day!

Charming and quiet boutique hotel with 2 pools. The hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. Great water pressure (which is not always the case in the island). Delicious breakfast (I loved the avocado toasts). Only 1 minute away from the beach with nice bars / restaurants around. Also a lot of delicious local restaurants in the village only 10 minutes away by walk. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and helpful. The location was very quiet and peaceful, and yet only a few minutes taxi ride to the town center. The hotel was clean, well looked after and beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

We liked (loved!) everything! Such a beautiful place, with nice energy, great relaxing vibe and the most friendly staff and great food. The room/apartment is spacious with a separate room for bags and clothes with a big mirror. Bathroom is also big with a rain shower. Breakfast is served at your own table on the veranda. Beach is beautiful (white sand, blue ocean) and even with low tide it’s a great sight. A great place to unwind, relax and enjoy.
