What a beautiful place. We ended up booking two more nights as we loved it so much. Would highly recommend staying for a few days and making use of the beautiful pool and gardens -a true oasis experience. All of the staff were so welcoming and we couldn't have felt more at home. Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf is located 5 km from the centre of Ouarzazate and has views on the Atlas Mountains and the lake. Its furnished patio overlooks the outdoor swimming pool. Excellent customer service. Rooms were tiny, but were upgraded to good sized ones. First Riad experience, doesn't look much from outside, but inside is a completely different story.

He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.

Mhamid Sahara Camp - Mhamid El Ghizlane is situated in Mhamid and offers a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. From the moment we met Larbi there was an instant connection. His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

This is a stunningly beautiful hotel in an equally stunningly beautiful location. The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Aït Ben Haddou, Riad Tigmi du Soleil is a guest house surrounded by views of the city. Lovely place. We arrived quite late, but still prepared one of the most lovely dinners we had in Morocco for us. A short hike or ride to Aït Ben Haddou.
