Located in Sigiriya, 2.3 km from Sigiriya Rock, Royal Rock Sigiriya provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We spent 2 nights at Royal Rock and had the best time! The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

A tranquil retreat perched on hills, Heritance Kandalama offers panoramic views of the Sigiriya Rocks. We loved Heritance Kandalama Hotel. The location is amazing, The food was excellent, The view from the room was surrounded by nature, And the infinity pool was fantastic. It is a hotel that protects nature and wildlife.

We genuinely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It felt like coming home – not to one mom, but to many welcoming moms. All the staff took such good care of us and made sure we had the best time. They had great tips on sightseeing and booked a fair priced tuktuk to drive us around Dambulla. The buffet was varied and delicious; the room and garden were tidy, beautiful and clearly looked after; the bed was super comfortable. We really hope we can come back one day.

Situated in Sigiriya, 1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiri Birds Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Absolutely adore this hostel and the hosts. They were the sweetest couple, who were always around to help you, give tips and also make you delicious food. I did a cooking class with them for 3000, which was incredible and so much cheaper than any other places and gave you a more authentic experience. I 100% recommend doing this is you are staying. They have a small restaurant where you can chill at and also a hammock. There was only one room, a four female dorm. It did get a little hot at times as there was only one fan for the room to share. It was clean and had a large bathroom. The location is perfect, just off the main street with some restaurants and mini stores around, but also a short walk to even more restaurants and it is fine walking to lion rock and pidurangala rock. If I came back I would definitely come back to stay and will recommend to all my friends that I know will be coming this way. Thank you for 💚

Tropicara Resort exceeded my expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The food was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that I looked forward to every day. Overall, it’s a perfect combination of excellent service, quality rooms, and amazing food. Highly recommended!

He was very helpful and made every effort to ensure the well-being of the guests. He did everything he could to make the guests' stay more enjoyable. He can offer to take you to and from the tourist attractions in his tuktuk. He also explains everything you can do in Sigiriya and the surrounding area at the beginning and helps you plan your stay. The food served by Suriya's family was absolutely delicious, which is why I didn't feel the need to eat out. The room was very clean and big enough. It has a beautiful garden with a fantastic view of Sigiriya Lion Rock. I would come back anytime!

Location was amazing, staff were very helpful and accommodating. Food was excellent. Recommend the ordering Sri Lankan breakfast and the lagoon crab curry. The team organised us tuk tuks and one of their team drove to our next destination and took us to the Dambulla cave temple. They collected us from Colombo International Airport also. Everyone was extremely friendly. The ground and the pool were kept meticulously. Only 9 rooms, so very quiet and tranquil. Lots of wildlife around the lake and grounds, including cormorants and pet guinea fowl. Would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing couple of nights in the jungle next door to Sigiriya rock and Pidurangala rock.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Sigiri Anu Homestay is located in Sigiriya. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The stay at Anu's place was very calm and wholesome. He was very caring and took us to many viewpoints around the city and organised everything for our trip and travel. The room itself was really clean and had everything for a short stay. Besides all the friendliness, his wife cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast which was more than enough and so for the best food we had during our Sri Lanka Trip. If you have the chance, stay at this place. It's definitely worth it!

The huts have beautiful views and everything needed for a stay. The breakfast included was great with lots of fruit and mix of sri lankan and western breakfast. Amila went above and beyond to help us get tuk tuks and even providing us a transfer himself. Fantastic stay and incredible hospitality.
