I really liked the welcome they give u, all staff properly trained on guest care, as I arrived Kavisha was very welcoming and throughout my stay she was inquiring n getting feedbacks plus the new wing rooms were super luxurious and has the vibe of a modern hotel! Food was excellent as well!

Beautiful property with lovely rooms. The roof top bar and pool was a highlight with amazing views. The gym is also well equipped and new. The breakfast buffet is amazing, all the food you can think of and more. Loved the friendly staff too.

The room was large and very comfortable. The property overlooks the Misty Mahaweli River and is perfect to come home to after a dusty visit to Kandy. Would happily return.

Simpson's Forest - Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa - Kandy has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and garden in Kandy. It was a perfect couple of days after a busy week of travel. The staff were lovely we loved the nature walks and trip to the natural pool with Isuru ( the naturalist ) and the amazing infinity pool sits high above the resort with the most stunning views. From start to finish it was just wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner and both were really good and lots of choices, service was attentive. The room was super comfortable air-con efficient, well stocked mini bar, iron hair, dryer kettle all just perfect. Beds and pillows comfy. There are trips out but we were just happy to be at the resort.

Staying here is a sheer delight, in a quiet neighborhood next to the Mahaweli River in an architectural home on four levels, with lots of space to be as solitary or as social as you care to be. And the home-cooked meals (breakfast was provided as part of the room rate) were simply exceptional, with generous portions and great desserts. Just an outstanding experience!

Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices and home-style cooking, making the meal unforgettable. What made the dinner even more special was the personal touch, with thoughtful presentation and warm conversations with the hosts. It was more than just a meal; it was a true taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The accomodation is spacious, well appointed, clean and well presented. If you're looking for stay and authentic, home-cooked meal in a peaceful and welcoming setting, I highly recommend a stay at Kandy Calm Residence.
