Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Stayed for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience! Service was impeccable. The kaiseki in-room dinner was fantastic. Presentation was 10/10 and food was really fresh! Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It's hard to describe how wonderful out stay at this property was. Fuji view right in front of us, open bath (onsen) with Fuji view again! Great staff, amazing atmosphere all around (no different from a gallery), super-friendly and helpful staff at bar as well. Their yukatas and kimono jackets were also fascinating. I mean, as I said, lots of words to describe but none of them would be enough. Just experience it yourself please.

Offering free bikes and mountain view, Southern Alps Kaikomagatake Foot of the Kaikoma is set in Hokuto, 43 km from Canora Hall and 36 km from Kamisuwa Station. The owner is really kind and offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, which made getting to the guesthouse much easier. There were food and drinks in the fridge when I arrived which was a great touch! It is a lovely location in the countryside and there is plenty of nature to explore. There are a few resturants, coffee shops and convience stores in the area which walking/biking distance. Would highly recommend!

Everything was relatively new and very well kept. The extra dehumidifier in every room. The crockery was lovely. Large bathroom. Very comfortable.

20 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Garden Shed is a recently renovated property located in Yamanakako and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. The most beautiful property I've ever stayed in. Truly gorgeous architecture, build quality, comfort, and hospitality. The absolute highlight of my trip. I would come back to Japan just to stay at this property again. Felt like home. Or what home could be.
