Fairfield by Marriott Nara Tenri Yamanobenomichi is located in Tenri, within 13 km of Nara Station and 28 km of Iwafune Shrine. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was great.

A 10-minute drive from Kintetsu Nara Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle, Mikasa offers open-air baths and a dining room with beautiful Nara views. On-site parking is free. What an experience, staying at Mikasa is my version of heaven. The staff were sweet, the breakfast and dinner were so enjoyable, 8-courses of a tasting menu meant that every night all our relatives were jealous of the pictures we were sending home. Our food preferences were adjusted for, and the bar at the end of the night was to look out over the city light. 4 nights wasn’t enough the enjoy this experiment. Public bath was great, and my mum really liked talking to yuki now!

Amazing amazing place with the most amazing staff. Staying here was an experience not just a place to sleep. It was so personal and comfortable, clean and special. Our favorite stay in over a month of traveling Japan. Wish we could have stayed longer.

APA Hotel Kintetsu-Nara Ekimae is located in Nara, 19 km from Iwafune Shrine and 22 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium. Very practical hotel well located a walking distance from Naramachi. Clean, cosy. Amenities are great.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, within 500 metres of Nara Station and 18 km of Iwafune Shrine. I originally chose it as it was close to Nara station, and I am so glad I did. There is so much more on offer at this hotel. A warm welcome, a beautiful Onsen waiting for you to soak your travel weariness away, comfortable bed, clean towels daily, the list goes on. What a fabulous little piece of heaven.

Boasting a public bath, AB Hotel Nara is located a 2-minute walk from Nara Station. The property offers free WiFi in all areas and private paid parking on site. Great location 2 minute walk from the train station. There are many popular places to eat within a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was included and it was pretty decent. Not as many amenities as other hotels but really good value for your money.
