Good breakfast and large parking available behind the hotel with electric charging ports. Been recently upgrade to very modern facilities. Highly recommend this place.

We are already planning to return for longer! Wonderful views from our very comfortable and clean room,very helpful staff, beautiful hotel surroundings,a restaurant, delicious breakfast with a gorgeous sea view-and a private beach! We were also picked up from Maratea station and taken back for our next train.Exceptional indeed!

From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the incredible care and attention to detail that has gone into restoring this historic property. The way they’ve blended the charm and heritage of the old building with elegant, modern interiors and thoughtful design is simply stunning. Every corner feels special, and it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit, take it all in, and enjoy the magical ambience. The location is perfect for exploring Matera, and the valet service made everything effortless. We left our car at their partner parking and were picked up directly, which made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. Even though the hotel is relatively new, it feels like it has been welcoming guests for many years. That is a true credit to the management and the entire team, who were warm, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was romantic and unforgettable. Relais & Châteaux should be very proud to have Vetera Matera in their collection. We are already looking forward to coming back and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Spazio Gagarin Residence is situated in Matera, 1.3 km from Casa Grotta nei Sassi and less than 1 km from Tramontano Castle. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. Amazing!!!! less than 10 minutes walk from the very center of Matera (and what a city!!!!! ) in a quite área, the facilities are just amazing. I do not know who were the architect but turning the place in a comfortable, amazingly beautiful place is something. Pietro, our host, was not only a host. He was a friendly face, someone I would like to call family. Pietro, thanks a lot for everything. The best wishes and great success to you. Set within 19 km of Casa Grotta nei Sassi and 19 km of Matera Cathedral, La Volpe e la Stella by Podere Carriero offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Montescaglioso. Excellent B&B, everything was superb. Our room was very clean and well-equipped, with a nice balcony overlooking the farm. Probably the best part of our stay was the breakfast, with everything fresh and eggs from the farm. The host is amazing. We stayed here and visited Matera for the whole day. We could only stay one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer.

Situated in Atella and with National Archaeological Museum reachable within 39 km, Palazzo Badiale history&rooms features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi... The room was spacious, extremely clean and super comfortable and the bed was big and comfy. Our hosts, Emilio and Donatella, were so lovely, helpful and generous!! We felt as if we were at home with friends. The fact that they make the best pizza, pastry, cake and chocolate obviously helps :) Fantastic stay and definitely recommended!!!!

Featuring a bar and views of city, Dimora Del Corso is a guest house situated in a historic building in Rotonda, 48 km from La Secca di Castrocucco. Property was extremely clean and beautifully restored. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and helped with suggestions for dinner and hiking options in the park.

Located in Matera and with Matera Cathedral reachable within less than 1 km, Palazzo della Fontana provides a terrace, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Very helpfull and kind staff. The receptionist Bruna was amazing. Help us a lot. Specious and clean room. Highly recommendable hotel.. We loved the contemporary design.
