I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

The place is in the middle of road and the view is stunning. The room is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. The shower pressure is a bit weak but it’s fine. The breakfast is nice, but there weren’t any veggies or fruits. All in all very good experience.

Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon offers luxurious accommodation in Hnappavellir. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and hotel bar. What a find! Lovely hotel close to Diamond Beach. Very clean and modern with two large outdoor hot tubs and a sauna. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Lots of choice. We ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. We even managed to see the Northern Lights while we were there. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing views, spacious room with all listed amenities, hot tubs for star and aurora gazing or just chilling, easy check-in and check-out.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. Accommodation was in a long block of rooms using both sides of the building, and each room had electronic door locks, so we were sent the room pin before we got there, and there no need to check-in. The accommodation is new and the room has underfloor heating and a very modern backroom and shower. What we liked is that there is a kitchen area that the guest can use and full use of plates and cutlery inc the microwave and plenty ot tables and chairs. So, there is no need to eat in your room The room was very modern, and the beds were comfy, and the room could get warm, so use the thermostat on the wall to change the temperature. Great place to stay if you want to visit the Glacier ad it's about 1hr feom diamond beach etc. Overall, it was a very good place to stay

Set next to Hof turf church, this hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Skaftafell National Park is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel. Cape of Ingolfshöfdi is 3 km away. Excellent option for 4 people to stay in one room. Extremely clean and well appointed. Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.
