Beautiful hotel that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, with lovely rooms and a cosy restaurant area. The hot tubs overlooking the lake are great. The food was very good both at dinner and breakfast (we loved the happy marriage cake - the best we had in Iceland - and the homemade blueberry jam!)

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... The best place for the economy travelers. It is cheap, has fridge, cattle, and a running water right in the room, and a great view out of the window. And yeah, the smoothest check in process. If I would have to choose now between this guesthouse and a fancy network hotel for $300+ a night there I would choose this one

The hotel had everything that you need for a short stay - great rooms, a communal kitchen and a lounge area, great beds, etc. The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was stunning! We even got to see some super cute arctic foxes! Go for it without any hesitation!
