This luxurious AA 4-star hotel is a haven of peace and quiet, on the beautiful shores of Lough Ree, by Athlone Golf Course. We only stayed for one night, but the rooms were big, comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. Lovely clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was excellent, as was the breakfast each morning.
