Bernie was very welcoming. We had an excellent place to stay and then visit around. Last tip: you Can share your best selfies with rugby superstars as bernie is a Big fan of this sport. Enjoy ! :-)

In an 18th century building, the family run Faythe Guesthouse is built on the grounds of a former castle. Offering rooms with en suite bathrooms, the Faythe provides delicious breakfasts. We loved our stay at the Faythe!! Excellent location - short walk to main road and harbour. Lots of options for breakfast - all the fruits are fresh and cooked breakfast is always delicious! Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Siobhan and Damien were amazing hosts and the rest of the staff were absolutely brilliant!

When we arrived our host made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. She gave us lots of suggestions on things to do and even looked up where we could find sporting events nearby. The house is beautifully decorated and spotless.

The serene location, the ruins of the castle that were preserved, the original antique furniture, the blazing fire in the fireplace, the majestic wallpapers, the hallway with renessaince paintings, the mysterious fog on the fields and I could go on… all this made sure we had a timeless and unique once in a lifetime experience spending our 4th anniversary in an actual Castle!!! We spent a night there solving a detective game and had an absolute blast! The ambient was just perfect and we left with memories that we will cherish forever! Also, I want to say thank you to our wonderful Host Sean who was available via email and answered all my questions within minutes. He greated us in person and was very friendly explaining us a few things. We thank you again for creating such an unparalleled experience sharing the Castle with the public and for keeping such good care of it!

I loved the old world feel , it was such a beautiful old house beautifully decorated. Such a beautiful place and lovely food for a relaxing weekend .
