Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. Hotel staff has been very kind to us. The room was clean and everything was as expected. We enjoyed our breakfast.

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. I stayed for a wedding and loved the castle and their staff so much I booked a second night. I have never stayed somewhere with staff who are so genuinely helpful and wonderful at their jobs. This also extends to the staff at the wedding. Food was fantastic and plentiful throughout the stay.

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, to be appreciated in rainy days especially. Food in the pub was good, breakfast offered a buffet along wth a menu to choose from, portions were quite satisfying.

We loved everything: location, facilities, staff, comfort, beauty of the surroundings, swimmingpool, room (double king), food, walking paths. Farnham hotel is one of the most relaxing place we have ever been.

Excellent accommodation, very comfortable, spotless, located in a perfect location for touring the region. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious. Offering a garden and garden view, Majestic Cavan Burren, 4 Bedroom, Dream Holiday Home is situated in Cornagee, 2.5 km from Killinagh Church and 13 km from Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark. Property was excellent and clean. Location is awesome and facilities were good. Only thing is some basic groceries were not provided.

Toddys Hideaway is set in Cavan, 12 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre, 20 km from Ballyhaise College, and 23 km from Drumlane Abbey. I wanted to immerse myself in the Irish countryside and I wanted to have some rest and quiet reflection about ancestors who came from this area as well as to go to Dublin for the day to see a friend and go to the theatre.
