Situated within 400 metres of Elgin Cathedral and 44 km of Huntly Castle in Elgin, Kilmorie House provides accommodation with seating area. The property was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable and the shower was amazing. We had a terrific night's sleep. The breakfast the following morning was delicious, filling and enjoyed in the company of other guests, who were almost as charming as Pete, the owner. Pete was a gregarious and personable host, who took time to listen to us and ensure that our stay went beyond our expectations. We will visit Kilmorie House again.

They have thought of everything that a guest may need. A lot of thought has gone into the layout and the space is used very efficiently. Quality fittings and furniture, comfortable king size bed and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Advised of door code before arrival. Check out very simple - push a button on the door to let them know that you've left and the 'clean team' turns up in minutes. Impressive!

The Gables Whisky B&B in Dufftown provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 26 km from Huntly Castle. Sibette and her husband was such sweet and warm people. Everything was in top 10. We felt so very welcome at their b&b. We are not whisky drinkers, but that was not a problem at “The Gables”. The breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade “granola” we would really love to come back again one day ❤️
