OUR RESTAURANT IS HUGELY POPULAR AND IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT THAT YOU MAKE A RESERVATION. This peaceful hotel is in the Lolland town of Bandholm, by the sea. Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

Boasting views of the Roskilde Fjord, Comwell Roskilde offers free parking and rooms with cable TV and WiFi access. Roskilde city centre is a 5-minute drive from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. In particular, there were gluten-free food and dairy-free milk options. The gluten-free food was in a separate area and a dedicated toaster for gluten-free products was provided. There was also plenty of non-dairy milk provided. I also appreciated that the bread was located in a separate area from the meat and cheese platters reducing cross-contamination. The staff was very knowledgeable about food allergies and were able to advise on modifications to the menu. I was able to eat safely during my entire stay at the hotel. The hotel also provided free coffee/tea as well as a water bar with sparkling, still, and flavored water available at all times.

Everything: the room was really nice and clean with a shared yard, the views of the sea are spectacular, the mini harbour nearby is adorable. The restaurant is excellent and serves generous meals (the salmon was AMAZING!!). But what is more important THE STAFF! Everybody was really nice with us, with a smille on their faces. Thank you very much! We’ll come back for sure!
