With pool views, this accommodation provides a terrace and a swimming pool.... Xavi the host gave us such a warm welcome to his beautiful spot. A well equipped gorgeous cabin surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool and laundry. Xavi was very helpful and showed our children the local monkeys. Best bit is that the profits go to the tree charity.

Offering a garden and lake view, La Ceiba Tree Lodge is situated in Tilarán, 41 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 17 km from Venado Caves. The grounds of the lodge are fabulous. There is plenty to explore, with an orchid garden and the Ceiba Tree overlooking the property. The breakfast was really nicely done, with a fabulous set-up of the flowers hanging down from the roof of the place. Also overlooking the Lake Arenal, and a feeding station for birds. Fresh coffee brewed the original way at the table. We also got our laundry done by the hosts, which was really handy, great value and done with more care than dedicated businesses for it. We paid extra for the room with a terrace, and it was worth that for the view and sitting out.

Offering free WiFi, Hotel Amira is situated in Carrillo. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to an outdoor swimming pool. We only stayed 1 night and enjoyed the experience. Room was bigger than any other we stayed in, in CR. Breakfast was good and staff were too.

It's my second time here and it only seems to be getting better. This is a real paradise. The staff is very friendly, the food is good and the atmosphere is heaven.

The continental breakfast brought to your room I found great. Fresh fruit, granola and yogurt. You choose what you want and at what time you would like it at check in. Will come back
