I took an art class 2 1/2 miles from this location so it was perfect for a short bike commute. With global warming, it was nice to have air conditioning as an option because most small countryside places in Belgium don’t necessarily have air-conditioning..

12 km from Maastricht International Golf in Bilzen, B&B 't Solveldje features accommodation with access to a sauna, hot tub and spa facilities. I loved everything! The place is beautiful, the room had everything I needed and was nicely decorated, modern and clean. There was a sauna between my room and another one but it was too late and I was too tired to enjoy it (next time!). Breakfast was amazing, I’m vegan so I asked them in advance if I could have had some vegan options and they answered not to worry, they would have prepared a vegan breakfast, but when I saw the table set in the morning I couldn’t believe it, there was food for a half dozen people! And with both sweet and savory options. But the best part was their hospitality, I had some very nice convos with Liesbeth the night of my arrival and with Stefan during breakfast on next morning. And Jim and Max and king Theo (some of their pets, if I remember their names correctly) were all so friendly and lovely! Next time I hope there would be a better weather to get acquainted with the owls too! Thank you again, everything was perfect and I simply felt I was staying at some friends’ house.

Located in Riemst, in a historic building, 13 km from Basilica of Saint Servatius, La Maison de Rose is a recently renovated holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Communication was great, both before and throughout our stay. The house exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than we imagined. We highly recommend staying here!
