The staff was incredible, they even provided some great instructions on the best hikes in the area! Stephanie and Christopher both took time to educate me on the local wines and the food they were serving. Speaking of food, the restaurant on site is top notch and deserves recognition!

Set in Deutschlandsberg, 40 km from Graz Central Station, Hotel Garni Pölzl offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Very quiet place. I arrived late at night when there was no one at reception, but the key of the room and the check-in form were waiting for me. I could use the sauna, I was alone, it was great after a long trip. Room size is much larger, than usual. The breakfast was nice. The staffs were very kind and smiling in the morning.

Gästehaus Lisa is set in Deutschlandsberg, 47 km from Casino Graz, 47 km from Eggenberg Palace, as well as 48 km from Graz Clock Tower. We had a wonderful stay ! We stayed in a family room with a beautiful view overlooking the winery fields, which made the experience even more special. Our 2-year-old daughter absolutely loved the children’s room upstairs, filled with plenty of toys that kept her entertained and happy throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and really gave us a taste of the local flavors. What made it even more memorable was the warmth and kindness of the Austrian family hosting us – they were so welcoming that it truly felt like staying in a home away from home. Highly recommended for families looking for a cozy and authentic countryside experience!

We were a bit uncertain about how the breakfast would turn out, since one had to order what one did desire the day before. However, after having carefully chosen what we wanted for the first breakfast (the evening before) we realised that the breakfast was not just "delivered" (as we first thought) but is was preparade by a very skilled and friendly staff that actually served what we had ordered to the table of our choice. After interacting with them we decided to keep our order the same for the following days. We hence did not have to fill out any more forms during our stay! : )
