We went there during Mid-summer weekend and we reserved 9 rooms. There was no one there as it was holiday time, but they shared the door code before hand and put all the keys for us in a common place that they informed us before we checked in, So, we didn't face any difficulties on that time. The premise was very clean and surroundings were really calm and relaxing. Rooms and toilets were spacious, Every room has a stove and a sink which is good to have when you travel with your family. The Common Kitchen has all the facilities to cook your own food including Microwave Oven, Electric Oven, Dishwasher and Refrigerator; also has enough utensils and plates-spoons even for a big group like us. Breakfast was really good. It was basic items like bread, butter, salami, milk and cornflakes; but it was well organized and they arranged Halal meat for us which was really great. We communicated with Ms Maria and she was like super cooperative :) . So, overall it was very enjoyable trip for us. Surely I recommend this place for future travellers.

Room was great.. We booked a room expecting a double bed and a sofa bed in the same space, but were surprised to find the room divided into two separate rooms — one with a double bed and one with the sofa bed. On the upside, both rooms had their own TVs, which was a nice touch.

Located right across the street from Skövde Central Station, Hotell Skövde offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with cable TV. Hertig Johan's Square is 250 metres away.

The people and the place was clean and the food

This hotel lies in Kvänum Village, 25 km south of Lidköping and Lake Vänern. It has a bowling alley and a small gym and spa free for guests. Free Wi-Fi and sauna access are also included.

This is was the most surprising hotel booking we made on our trip through Sweden. The pictures on booking.com did not do this place justice. We booked it because it was one of the last places left on our unplanned random trip in August. It is set on the hill overlooking the town. The hill is popular with hiking, fishing, spa wellness in the summer, and in winter is turns into a cross country ski resort.
