The place has beautiful garden and is owned by very kind family. Although our train got delayed an hour, the father awaited us on station with his tuk tuk. The next day he has driven us around for sightseeing of Pidurangala (best view of Sigiriya), Damballa Rock Temple, visit in Herbs Garden, massages at Ayurveda center. The place itself was very nice (super clean) and breakfast - delicious!! 😋

Beautiful resort with extremely peaceful environment. Perfect for families to relax and enjoy! They have a wonderful pool which our 3 kids really enjoyed after returning from an early morning trek to Sigiriya Lion Rock. They upgraded our room for free and entire staff was smiling and super helpful. I even received a 15% discount on carbonated beverages on check out. The fish aquariums were stunning sight upon entry! All good things to say about the whole experience!

Little oasis inmiddle of the jungle. Calm and relaxed atmosphere, extremely kind and helpful staff. Relaxing in and around the pool after a hot day of visiting Dambulla or Sigiriya felt like paradise. Our villa was in excellent condition and we all slept very well in the cosy beds. The hotel is really beautiful. The family working there are so nice and the food is freshly cooked every day. We had the best dinner in Sri Lanka. The hotel is situated in the middle of the nature so there are a lot of animals to see and if you want to do some activities the people in the hotel will help you out and give you good prices. We did the village tour and it was so worth it. The room and everything was really clean. I will definitely come again.

The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was abundant, almost too much for a woman of my age. Actually I wasn't well physically due to fever, coughing. They took it serious and helped me with many ways such as extra bedding, tea etc. I asked them if they could prepare dinner (paid) to which they have willingly served me with delicious one. Yohan, his parents and brother are so kind that I recommend people to stay there if you plan to go to Sigiriya.

Thal Sewana has absolutely great location (few minutes walk to both rocks, no need of tuk tuk), room was clean, breakfast was homemade and very nice.
