stayed in room 181 - very nice and everything we expected. coffee making facilities. feee bath robes for use with hot tubs . excellent breakfast - stayed for 3 nights

Room was massive with nice furniture too. View of the lake craters was amazing and the sun streaming through the window in the morning gave a false sense of how warm it was compared to the freezing day outside. Breakfast offered dozens of options and the restaurant had a dozen options too.

Beds were very comfortable, (indeed every where we've stayed in Iceland has had very comfortable beds), room/bathroom very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great, buffet style continental with a good/tasty range of food. Our room faced out onto the lava field, literally 10m from the door.
