We booked a triple room with a balcony and the room was incredible. The size of the room and balcony was spacious and looked out to a gorgeous green garden. They have thought of everything in the design and amenities. The bathroom has an enormous shower, separate toilet and a bath. The staff were amazing, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Location is right near the cathedral and a short walk down hill to old town.

Extraordinary ex 18th century monastery. Beautiful with lots of original features kept in pristine condition. Excellent location overlooking Vieux Lyon (the old town). We had a suite which was in the second building accessed via an underground tunnel. The staff are incredible, super friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast offering cooked as well as continental breakfast.

It's a quiet, intimate place with easy access to the centre. We intentionally chose a place that's a bit further away from the centre because it has a nice atmosphere, making us feel at home. We spent time here from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day, and it was a great idea. Another great thing is the quick access to the beautiful villages in the mountains. It was just an overnight pit stop for us but this hotel was very clean, smelled nice, lovely room and bathroom, great facilities and the best thing was that it had a smart tv so we were able to stream our media services. When you’re in a country where the English language is not the predominant language so you’re constantly having communication difficulties day to day it’s nice to go back to your room and just watch something that you’re used to watching and in English. It’s a small detail but very much appreciated.
