We arrived in China by train from Hong Kong. We came completely unprepared, without roaming, without Chinese yuan, without a hotel address in Chinese, without a route plan for the park. By some miracle, a local guy brought us from the train station to the hotel using GPS coordinates. At the hotel, we paid for our transfer, were treated to tea, bought tickets to the park, and were given a route plan. The staff didn't speak English, but we understood each other perfectly with the help of a translator. They helped us solve all our problems and plan our days in this area. They always found and brought us to the hotel by car, considering that we didn't have internet. In general, it was delightful! And the hotel itself was very comfortable. The view, cleanliness, style. Everything was superb!

We had a really nice stay at Wally's House. The rooms were nice and spacious and the owner Wally was super nice and friendly. He offered us a second room for free, took time every evening to show us which parts of the Forest Park to visit and even let us take a shower after checking out and before taking the nighttrain. Thanks for everything!

A wonderful family-run hotel in the mountains with a view of the Avatar Mountains .Delicious Chinese food at the local restaurant (we didn't have time to try everything on the menu in three days 😂) manager Tiffany speaks excellent English and resolves all your questions in no time! And Tiffany professionally planned itineraries to visit all the iconic locations, including purchasing all the tickets and providing transportation to the desired locations. Everything is so well-organized that all you have to do is enjoy the beauty and grandeur of the mountains. The room environment was excellent, the butler service was very thorough, and it was very close to the east gate of the forest park. All services were good. It was a very satisfactory trip. They upgraded the room type for free.

Quite impressed. Grounds pleasantly restorative - ideal for unwinding. Facilities notably modern (surprisingly so), everything in working order. Staff discreet yet attentive when required. Airport shuttle proved useful. Post-sightseeing strolls: tranquil, with several agreeable resident creatures about. Pool area particularly commendable - sizeable and well-maintained. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Jolly good all round.

Great Stay with Convenient Location The breakfast was absolutely fantastic—we really enjoyed every bite of it! What stood out most was the unbeatable location: it’s super close to both Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area and Zhangjiajie Airport, which saved us so much time on transportation. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

The property is in a perfect location, in a quiet area close to the South Gate of the park. We got a really nice room, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Swimming pool is huge with a nice and cozy garden around it. Dinner was very good and freshly cooked, one of the best meals of our stay in China. The owners are very kind and they drove us to the entrance park multiple days. I definitely recommend this hotel, hope to be back soon.
