Eastbourne has many facilities for short or a long stay. A pier, terraced walks along the front, pebbly beach, many bars and restaurants. The town is split into quarters such as artistic etc. If you take the time lots of nice places tucked away from tge centre. It has a modern shopping centre, very good transport both bus and rail. Eastbourne is a nice place to visit,there are plenty of shops,restaurants, bars,and coffee shops , the Becon is a nice shopping centre with some great shops and all the ones you know, shop staff are very friendly and very helpful, there is great transport, buses, trains, and the taxis are reasonably priced, but I an not to impress Ed with the pier, but my opinion, there are some great pubs also with very nice friendly and helpful staff.MichaelUnited Kingdom

Breakfast was prepared by Nasser and was delicious. My room was comfortable, warm, (freezing and snow outside). A lovely location and a very pretty hotel (listed building) and gardens. I found the hotel and staff lovely, nothing was too much trouble. If I have to travel to the area again, I would definitely stay there as it was much more comfortable than the larger chain hotels.
